According to heraldic rules the arms can be represented ensigned with the coronet of an Italian Noble; issuant from the coronet, a helm befitting duke degree with mantling Gules doubled Or. Upon a wreath of the liveries the coronet of an Italian Duke.

It is also in de Cadenas y Vicent, Vicente; Repertorio de blasones de la Comunidad Hispánica, 1964, Instituto Salazar Castro and a very similar version in the 17th century rare manuscript of anonymous entitled Famiglie illustrissime nobili che sono nelli cinque seggi di questa fidelissima città di Napoli, antiche e moderne per alfabeto, Ms X.A.42 – fol.43r preserved in the Manuscripts and Rare Section of the National Library of Naples.
The armigerous, professor of history and history of fashion, is a member of the noble Regina family of the dukes of Pesche and Grottolelle, of the Counts of Macchia Valfortore and Castel San Vincenzo, Neapolitan nobles and of the princes of Sant’Angelo of the Lombardi with predicate of San Vincenzo al Volturno, as also indicated in a work of the Studio Araldico e Nobiliare Guelfi Camaiani of Genoa.
By virtue of this he was also recognized as the holder of the arms by the Italian Patent and Trademark Office – Drawings section and accepted for registration by the Chief Herald of Arms of Malta Dr. Charles A. Gauci.
