The Coat of Arms
The Coat of Arms was first published in January 1950 and appeared more or less quarterly until 2005 in its original smaller format. In 2005 it went over to the current larger format publication that usually appears twice a year.
All members of The Heraldry Society together with Libraries, Record Repositories and Societies may subscribe to The Coat of Arms. Please contact our Membership Secretary for current categories and prices.
For over 40 years the journal has aimed as presenting heraldry in a scholarly and readable way.

The Heraldry Gazette
The Heraldry Gazette started in 1958 and went over to its current A4 size in 1983.
All members of The Heraldry Society receive a copy of The Heraldry Gazette quarterly as part of their subscription. The Gazette contains heraldic news, comment, correspondence and details of meetings organised by The Heraldry Society and the regional Heraldry Societies and Groups.

The Society has a limited number of back numbers of both publications – a current list of which is included at the end of the second hand books list.
The volumes are offered in both single issues and in volume sets. In some cases we can provide an original index. All back number issues are in loose parts. Payment may be made by cheque to ‘The Heraldry Society’ or by credit card through the Society's PayPal account (www.theheraldrysociety.com). Postage will be charged at cost as notified. Please contact the Hon. Librarian to discuss your requirements.
